Writing Online Articles

As well as having some success with
letters and viewpoints being published in hard copy, Helen Edwards has also posted a few articles to websites that specialise in short, snappy and informative writing on a wide range of subjects.

To give you an example of the kind of articles that do well, here are links to a couple of them.

http://searchwarp.com/swa264965.htm - 'On being a Redhead'

http://searchwarp.com/swa266389.htm - 'Commercialism at its worst'

Have a read through and examine the content and the pace of each article to gain the measure of what is required. Once you are confident that you have something to say, then go along to one of the sites below, join and then get writing!

Our own Richard has also posted a couple of pieces to Ezinearticles.com - so it can't be that difficult!

So, the object of these articles is, that not only do you get a bit of practice writing, you also get some satisfaction for having something up on the web.

It is also a great way to market your Blog, your website or anything else that you want to link to. You could write a piece about giving to charity and link it to a charity website or you could revamp articles from your own webpages (as Richard has done) and post them as 'breadcrumbs' so that people visit your site.
