 Children's Story Competition
Story length: Max 1500 words
 
Age group the stories are to be aimed at*: 3 to 11 year olds (we may split into 2 categories if we have a high volume of entries)
 
Subject: Bedtime story
 
Closing Date: Midnight 31st December 2007
 
Cost per entry: £3.00 UK Sterling
 
*This competition is open to all ages. Entries must be in English.
 
 

 1st Prize: £50, publication in and a copy of the Struggling Authors Anthology + you will also be the Author of the Month for February 2008

 

 5 Runners Up prizes: of a £10 voucher from SLR Books and publication in the Struggling Authors Anthology

  • Just submit your work using the form below remembering to enter 'Children's Story Competition Entry' as the subject line and your name and the title of the piece as the first line of the main message box.

 

* You do not have to submit your work double spaced and your name will be removed by us before being passed to the judges.*

 
  • Once you have clicked 'Submit' then go down to the payment section and make a payment using the 'Buy Now' button. This will take you to *Paypal's secure website where you can pay via your Paypal account or using secure credit/debit card payments.

    *If the Paypal button does not appear or you do not have a Paypal account then please send your story through and we will contact you via email with regards to settling payment.

     

       
      *Please remember to enter the title of your piece in the appropriate field.
       
      **If you would like to enter more than once then please hit the 'Back' button when you  you have submitted your first piece and then send in your next entry(s). You can then make one payment for all - remembering to alter the Item Quantity on the login page.

      *You can cancel payment at any time before you confirm - just hit the 'Return to Struggling Authors' button and your transaction will be made void.
