Save your document as Rich Text [RTF]
If you are unsure as to how to change your MS Word document from its standard .Doc format to RTF, follow the tutorial below.
Saving as different format
When your document is complete and ready to send, click on File and then scroll down to Save As. (This works differently to Save as that only makes a copy of what you have already).
Choose your extension!
Now we just need to name our document and then click on the drop down for 'Save as Type'. Scroll down to Rich Text Format (*.rtf) and then click on Save.
Your document should now be ready to attach and send - and hopefully get published!
